I love the metal ball-bearing applicator that really is cool to the lips and spreads the Lip Infusion nicely. I think of this almost more as a lip gloss than I do a real repairing type of product. For repair, I use Blistex Lip Medex, .38-Ounce Pots (Pack of 12) The Blistex Lip Medex is much more appropriate for really cracked, dry lips.
The Blistex Lip Infusion is a nice product to give moisture and sheen to lipe (think of the 70’s and 80’s and lip gloss). It does absorb quickly and does not leave any waxy coating or feel on your lips because it is more liquid than it is wax … so it really soaks in. I am definitely not shy about using it, I will use several applications to really put a coating on my lips that will stay and not soak all the way in — I find multiple coatings much more effective for “sticking power”.
If you have moderately dry lips without a lot of chapping and cracking, this is a good product. If you have Winter, chapped and cracked lips you need something stronger like Carmex Lip Balm Small (Pack of 12) or the Blistex Lip Medex. They will certainly treat troubled lips more aggressively than the Lip Infusion product will.
If this product is used as a moisturizer or sun block, I think it’s the right product.

You really can’t go past this product.
Non waxy, no mess, stickiness etc.
It has a nice but very subtle vanilla taste.

Blistex Lip Infusion was recommended to me by one of the girls in the pharmacy. I’m glad she did. It does everything it promises. My lips feel lush and wet, dryness is instantly relieved. It’s not just a topical coating, I feel the penetration. The wetness lasts and lasts. I instantly became a convert after one use and now it’s the lip moisturizer I search the stores for.

The liquid here works great. But I question the container design. It uses a metallic roll-on and a container top that touches the metallic roll-on. Forget about the Blistex for a couple of months and reuse it– I wonder how many old bacteria remain? Needs to provide caution or redesign.

Ohk…my lips recently got sunburned and the few vodka shots i had later surely didnt help things. So now i got painful, dry, peeling lips. I saw this product while checking out at the local walmart and picked it up. I have bought it previously and dont really remember anything good nor bad about it from that time. Anyways, this feels great as soon as you put it on but within a minute it has soaked up the liquid and your lips feel even more parched than before! Even when you add more right away it doesnt seem to improve. I am extremely disappointed with this product but the price isnt bad at $2.49. Additionally, my daughter, whose lips are not chapped loves it…go figure!
