Most of them smelled terrible, cost a fortune and did terrible things to my hair. This shampoo has been the best thing for my scalp I have tried in 20 years of struggling with scalp problems. It smells great, lathers and cleans well, and is very cost effective. My hair dresser has even commented on how healthy my scalp is. I love that it is an organic shampoo without all the harsh chemicals most seborrhea shampoos have. I have recommended it to several people wiht and without scalp issues and everyone loves the clean feeling and great smell.

I tried pert plus, head and shoulders, and also tried 'crew', an expensive brand from hair shops. None of them fixed it. This did. Do a little research on Tea Tree oil. It's great stuff. My head stopped itching within a very short time of starting to use this. Will certainly be buying it again.

(Itching, scaliness) I gave him this shampoo to see if it would help and he loves it. It works great. His eczema has calmed down, and he asks me to order this shampoo again and again. He also uses the conditioner.
I can't say much about what it does for manageability and softness- he has really short hair. But if you are looking for something to help with a problem scalp, this may be the solution.

As a teacher who is around several children daily I needed protection from those nasty little things nobody likes to talk about. HEAD LICE. The only reason I rated it four stars is because it doesn't smell great. But I can deal with it.
